GesamtHochschulBibliotheks-Systematik (GHBS) http://www.hbz-nrw.de German library classification standard originally developed in the 1960s forthe North-Rhine-Westfalian (NRW) University libraries established in thesame period (i.e. Duisburg, Essen, Siegen, Paderborn and Wuppertal). Today it is also used by other libraries in NRW. The GHBS is offered for download by the HBZ (Hochschulbibliothekszentrum NRW) either as zipped HTML file or as postscript file.
